Samuel Louis Sawyer, 61, died peacefully March 25, 2010. 
Sam was preceded in death by wife Barbara Johnston Sawyer and parents 
Robert and Elsie Sawyer of Maribel. 
Among his survivors are brothers Albert and his wife Vivian; Bobby and 
Jimmy Sawyer of Lexington; sister Ada Cuthrell and husband Frank of 
Vanceboro. 
A memorial graveside service was held April 17, 2010 at Celestial Gardens, 
Cash Corner, with Rev. William Sealy of Vanceboro officiating. 
Sambo was a good mechanic and had a smile for all that knew him.
