BAYBORO - Samuel Lee Tutt, 75, of 524 Third Street, Bayboro, died Monday,
April 2, 2007 at Craven Regional Medical Center.
He was a native of Bayboro, was a farmer and commercial fisherman. He was
a member of the Angelic Male Gospel Chorus.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at West Branch M.B. Church, Bayboro with
the Rev. Tony Credle officiating.
He is survived by two sons, Mark Tutt of Arapahoe and Samuel Tutt, Jr. of
Richmond, Va.; two daughters, Edna Cooper of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Doris Tutt
of Bayboro; two brothers, James Lewis of Bayboro and Matthew Lewis of New
Bern; two sisters, Cora Lewis of New Bern and Mary Jarvis of Bayboro; 20
grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter Doris B. Tutt,
E-1 Bayview Apartments, Neal’s Creek Road, Bayboro.
Viewing will be 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Friday at Oscar’s Mortuary.
