REELSBORO - Sarah Margaret Austin Bateman, 80, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, 
at CarolinaEast Medical Center. She was survived by one son, George Bateman
Jr. of Vanceboro; one step-son, Stanley Bateman of Virginia Beach, Va.; 
two daughters, Rosie Willis of Reelsboro and Carolyn Ford of Pennsylvania; 
five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.  
A memorial service will be held 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 28, at Reelsboro 
Pentecostal Holiness Church with Phyllis Buck officiating.  
Arrangements are by Bryant Funeral Home & Cremations, Alliance.
