Obituary of Sarah Rae Goldstein Porter ~ 2007

ORIENTAL - Sarah Rae Goldstein Porter passed away on January 10, 2007, 
after a short illness. 
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she is survived by her devoted husband, William 
Porter; two beloved daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and Kevin Slinkman 
of Cary and Harriet and Jay Novet of New York City; and two adoring 
grandsons, Jason and Jordan, both currently attending college.  
Ms. Porter retired as a supervisor from the Waldorf-Astoria in New York 
City and resided in Oriental with her husband for over two decades.  
Memorial services will take place on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 11 a.m. at the 
Temple B'nai Sholem Synagogue at 505 Middle St., New Bern, where she was 
a member for many years. She will be missed by her many friends and family.
