GRANTSBORO - Stephen Brown Banks, 52, died Sunday morning, October 12, 2008
at Craven Regional Medical Center.

He was a member of Broad Street Christian Church and a sales representative
for Davco.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Dwain Banks, and is survived 
by his wife, Theresa Banks of Grantsboro; two sons, Stephen and Daniel 
Banks, both of Grantsboro; his mother and father, Paul and Rowena Banks of 
Trent Woods; his brother, Dexter Banks and wife, Cyndi, of Ayden; and his 
sister, Paula Kay Kramer of New Bern.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 13, 
2008, at Cotten Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 p.m. 
Tuesday, October 14, 2008 with the Rev. David Banks and the Rev. Sam Fuson 
officiating. Interment will be at Greenleaf Memorial Park.

Cancer Society , 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C. 27834.
