Obituary of Stephen Walker Cummings ~ 2009

ORIENTAL - Stephen Walker Cummings, 69, died Monday, May 18, 2009 at his 
home. 
He attended the Bethel Freewill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Charmon Cummings.
He is survived by three sons, Stephen Ashley Cummings of Lowland, Stephen 
Walker Cummings Jr. of Vanceboro and Joseph Cummings of Alliance; four 
stepsons, Wesley Banks Jr. of Ohio, Steven-Craig Banks of Ill., Chris 
Banks of Jacksonville and John Banks of Winterville; one daughter, Liz 
Rushing of Winterville and special companion, "Sally" the dog; two 
brothers, Harry Cummings of Hugo and Joe Cummings of Bridgeton; two 
sisters, Jane White of Smithfield and Gypsy Wetherington of Cove City; 
twelve grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at 
Bryant Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be at the Bethel FWB Church Cemetery.
