Obituary of Sudie Sawyer Hicks ~ 2012

BAYBORO - Sudie Sawyer Hicks, 74, of 113 Rich Ave., died Monday, Jan. 2, 
2012, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.   
She was a member, usher and served on the culinary committee at Green Hill 
M. B. Church.   
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2011, at Greenhill M.B. 
Church with the Rev. Kenneth Bell officiating. Burial will be in Green 
Hill Church Cemetery.   
She is survived by her son, Jeffery Sawyer of the home; two daughters, 
Sandra Dockery of Bayboro and Lori Sawyer of New Bern; one brother, Willie 
Sawyer of Aliquippa, Pa.; two sisters, Alice Greene of Bayboro and Lillie 
Moore of Aliquippa, Pa.; two stepchildren, Elliot Kinsey of New Bern and 
Mollie Kinsey of Pennsylvania; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. 
The family will receive friends at the residence. Viewing will be at 
Oscar's Mortuary Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and at the church one 
hour prior to the service.
