Obituary of Sudie Margaret Paul Woodard ~ 2007

GRANTSBORO - Sudie Margaret Paul Woodard, 91, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007, 
at Craven Regional Medical Center. 
She had retired from Seashore Bus Company after 34 years.  
Mrs. Woodard was a member of Edward Christian Church and Pamlico County 
Women of the Moose.  
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at Bryant Funeral Home 
Chapel with the Rev. Wesley Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Greenleaf
Memorial Park. 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. 
Friday, just prior to the service, and other times at the home of her 
daughter, Suzette Nesbit, 409 Bergin Road, Aurora.  
She is survived by one son, Jules Hugo Woodard and wife, Lorraine, of 
Grantsboro; three daughters, Linda K. Whorton of Greenville, Vicki Jones 
and husband, Carl, of Aurora and Suzette Nesbit and husband, Harry, of 
Aurora; two sisters, Mattie Pearl Williamson and Dorothy Hardison, both of 
Arapahoe; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-
granddaughter. 
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Victor H. Woodard, 
and a great-great-grandson.  
Mrs. Woodard lived long, laughed often and loved a lot.
