RALEIGH - Sybil Banks Branch 89, of Raleigh, died Monday, May 5, 2003. 
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Thursday at the Mitchell 
Funeral Home chapel, 600 St. Mary's St. in Raleigh.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral 
Home. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Ms. Branch was born Pamlico County and moved to Raleigh in 1941 where she 
raised her family. She retired from Bache Securities and spent much of her 
time as an active member and Sunday School teacher for Tabernacle Baptist 
Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Rheta Mann of Raleigh; grandchildren, Sybil 
Mann and husband, Chuck of Waynesville NC, Sharon Stanley and husband, Zane 
of Hope Mills, NC and Stephanie Murray and husband, Matthew of Franklinton. 
In addition Ms. Branch is survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 1300 
St. Mary's St., Raleigh, NC 27605 and the Radio Ministry of Tabernacle 
Baptist Church, 8304 Leesville Road, Raleigh NC, 27613.
