Kannapolis- Sybil Gaskill Gatton, 77, died Wednesday, July 30, 2003, at 
Transitional Health Services, Kannapolis.
She retired from Cannon Mills after 45 years of service. She was a member
of Centerview Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home with
the Revs. Willie Rash and David Haltom officiating.
Burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
She is survived by three daughters, Annie Daniel of Kannapolis, Jean Squires
of Edenton and Janet Greene of Bessemer City; three sons, Phil Gatton of
Kannapolis, Ben Gatton of China Grove and Johnny Gatton Jr of Concord; one 
brother, Ellis Gaskill of New Bern; 12 grandhcildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be donated to Centerview Baprist Church, 415 Walter St., Kannapolis,
NC 28083 in memory of Sybil Gatton.
