GRANTSBORO - Teresa Virginia Hopkins, 53, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, at 
Pitt County Memorial Hospital.  
She was co-owner and operator of Teresa's Florist in Grantsboro. 
She was a volunteer member of the Pamlico County Rescue Squad and was a 
past member of the Grantsboro/Silverhill Volunteer Fire Department.  
She is survived by her son, Matthew Hopkins; her mother, Roberta Hopkins; 
three brothers, Larry Hopkins of Aurora, Tommy Hopkins of Lowland, and 
Steve Hopkins of Caladash; and maternal grandmother, Cassie Asby of 
Kathleen, Ga.  
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with 
the Rev. Phillip Lewis officiating. 
Interment will follow in Whitehill FWB Church Cemetery.  
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday night at Bryant 
Funeral Home.
