ORIENTAL - Theresa Johnson, 70, of 1439 Silverbrook Road, died Sunday, 
June 24, 2007, at the Carroll S. Roberson Hospice Center, Fayetteville.  
She graduated from Pamlico County Training School and Wilmington School of 
Nursing. She retired from Georgetown University Hospital and relocated 
to Oriental.  
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Chapel M.B. Church, Oriental, 
with the Revs. James Williams and Larry Faision officiating.  
Burial will be in Odd Fellow Cemetery.  
She is survived by four brothers, Jackie Johnson of Oriental, Christopher 
Johnson of Fayetteville, and Ernest Lee Johnson and William H. Johnson 
Jr., of Hamden, Conn.; and three sisters, Mary Wiley of Austin, Texas, 
Detra Wright of Macon, Ga., and Leatrice Burney of Oriental.  
The family will receive friends at the residence. 
Viewing will be 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Oscar’s Mortuary, New Bern, 
and one hour prior to the service at the church.
