SILER CITY - Velma Stanton Sadler, 67, of 900 West Dolphin St., Siler City,
died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2002 at Sun Bridge Care Facilities, Siler City. 
Graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002 at Sapling 
Ridge United Methodist Cemetery, 5016 Silk-Hope-Gum Spring Road, Siler 
City, conducted by Rev. Lamont Hemminger.  
Mrs. Sadler was a native of Pamlico County, a member of Sapling Ridge 
United Methodist Church and was a Siler City Police Dispatcher for 15 
years.  
Survivors include son, Lou Sadler of Carthage; daughter, Lori Sadler of 
Carthage; sisters, Mary Ann Self and husband, Dwight of Siler City and 
Carolyn Lemons and husband, Tommy of Apex.
