BAYBORO - Vera Gaskill Rice, 87, died Friday, April 15 at Craven Regional 
Medical Center. 
A funeral service was held Sunday, April 17, 1:30 pm, at Bayboro United 
Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Baldwin officiating. Burial was in 
Gaskill Cemetery.  
She retired from Pamlico County Department of Social Services and was a 
member of Bayboro United Methodist Church and 60-Plus Club.  
She is survived by one son, Buddy Rice of Minnesott; one daughter, Teddy 
L'dvigsen of Winston-Salem; one sister, Annie Love Moore of Norfolk, VA; 
four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
