ARAPAHOE - Vernon Everett Hardy Jr., 62, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005, at 
his daughter's home.  
He had worked as a carpenter and roofer and enjoyed the water.  
Memorial service will be 6 p.m. Thursday at Bryant Funeral Home, Alliance, 
with the Rev. Blaney Rowe officiating.  
Visitation will be until 8 p.m. after the service.  
He is survived by one son, Kenneth E. Hardy of Oriental; one daughter, 
Stephanie Daniels of Arapahoe; two brothers, Gary Hardy of Edenton and 
Andy Hardy of Oriental; and two grandchildren.
