ALLIANCE - Virginia Dare Williams Davis, 75, of 290A Keel Road, died 
Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at Craven Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of Bethel M.B. Church, serving as a senior choir member, 
secretary of the Union Association, missionary and mother. She was also a 
member of Bay Star Chapter O.E.S.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday at Bethel M.B. Church with the Rev. Victor 
Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Bethel Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Johnnie Davis of Merritt; one son, Kelvin 
Davis of Fort Washington, Md.; three daughters, Hattie D. Jordan of Dale 
City, Va., Teresa Davis of Bayboro, and Dianthe D. Harvey of Fort 
Washington, Md.; one brother, Ophesus Williams of Temple Hills, Md.; one 
sister, Irene McNair of Washington; 11 grandchildren; and four 
great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at 96 Spruill Road, Merritt.
Viewing will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at
Oscar’s Mortuary, New Bern, and one hour prior to the service Monday at 
the church.
