Vivian Lupton Dudley, 82, of Goldsboro died at Wayne Memorial Hospital 
Saturday, November 2, 2002.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 3:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home 
Chapel. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery. 
She spent most of her life loving, caring and helping people in need.  Mrs. Dudley was born in Pamlico County to the late William Daniel Lupton and Affa Leona Hodge Lupton. Mrs. Dudley worked with Borden Manufacturing for 19 years and operated Dudley's Rest Home for 20 years. She attended Oak Heights Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.  She is survived by a daughter, Annette Dudley; a son, Kirby and wife Mary Ann all of Goldsboro; a special son, Franklin Hobbs of the home; six grandchildren, Debbie Grant and husband Danny, Lynn McCutcheon and husband Chris, Dwayne Holland and wife Sylvia, Warren Dudley and Jennifer Dudley all of Goldsboro and Glen Holland and wife Neta-K of Pikeville; seven great-grandchildren, Kim Sanderson and husband Chris, Danny Grant Jr. and wife Jessica, Bobby Calcote, Christy Calcote, Sandy Holland, Kevin Holland and Cameron Holland; one great-great-grandchild, Austin Sanderson; five sisters, Mae Neal, Jean Mitchell, Joyce Lanier of Goldsboro, Katie Wright of Vanceboro and Helen Everette of Holly Ridge.
Mrs. Dudley was preceded in death by four brothers, Lonnie Lupton, Linwood 
Lupton, Mac Lupton, and E.V. "Tink" Lupton.
Memorials may be made to Oak Heights Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 
2103 O'Berry Center Road, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6 until 8 at Seymour 
Funeral Home and other times at the residence of Kirby and Mary Ann 
Dudley, 204 Cella Street, Goldsboro.
