W Wilson Hopkins, 63, of Aurora, died Friday, September 20, at his residence.
Funeral service was held at Friendship Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2:00 p.m.,
Sunday, September 22, with the Rev Kenneth Dixon, the Rev Mike Carter, and 
the Rev Bobby Howard officiating. Burial was in Whitehill Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta A Hopkins of the home; sons, Larry Hopkins
of Aurora, Steve Hopkins of Greenville, and Tommy Hopkins of Lowland; daughter,
Teresa Hopkins of Alliance; sisters, Thora Brothers of Aurora, Sylvia Buck of 
Bayboro, Jackie Lowder of Chesapeake, Va., Stella Ross of Lowland, and Trula
Tunstall of Aurora; brothers, Becton Hopkins of Bayboro, and Ray Hopkins and
Wiley Hopkins Jr both of Aurora; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
He was a tugboat captain and worked with Maritrans for 29 years.
