BAYBORO - William Avon Best of 414 Chinchilla Drive died Monday, Feb. 13, 
2012, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.
He was a member of Greenhill M.B. Church. He was employed with the New York
Post and retired from the Daily News.
His funeral will be noon Saturday, at Green Hill M.B. Church with the Rev. 
Kenneth Bell officiating. Burial will follow in the Dudley Family Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Dudley Best of the home; one son, Eric 
Best of New Castle, Del.; one sister, Michelle Lumpkins of Atlanta, Ga.; 
and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the residence. Viewing will be 10 a.m. 
to 6 p.m. Friday, at Oscar's Mortuary.
