William M. Borden, 66, of 206 West Pilot, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 1997, at 
Durham Regional Hospital. He was a native of Pamlico County and was retired
from American Tobacco Company.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 8, 1997, at 11:00 a.m. at 
Scarborough & Hargett Funeral Home. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery.
Surviving are 4 sons, Chris E. Borden and Michael Borden, both of Charlotte, 
Donald E. Borden, of Hempstead, and Ronald E. Borden, of Decatur, Georgia; 
and a brother, Edwin D. Borden, of Durham.
Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 7, 1997, 7-8 p.m., at Scarborough & Hargett
Funeral Home.
