FORT MYERS, FLORIDA - William "Bill" Louis Hancock, 62, originally from 
Goose Creek died Sunday, September 4, 2005 at Cape Coral memorial Hospital.
He was born September 10, 1942 in Pamlico County, son of the late Louis 
Daniel and Dorothy Lilly Hancock. He was a commercial fisherman most of 
his life.  
Surviving are his wife, Karen Lewis, of the home; two sons Jimmy Hancock 
and wife Susie of Goose Creek and Bill Hancock and wife Kathryn of 
Bridgeton; one stepson, Brad Lewis of Fort Myers, FL; one daughter, Jane 
Nelson and husband David of New Bern; one sister, Flo Lennop and husband 
Vic of Reelsboro; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
