FAYETTEVILLE - William Preston Hardy, 81, formerly of Oriental, died 
Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at the VA Medical Center in Durham.  
Born in Oriental, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.  Graveside service 
will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.  
He is survived by his wife, Ardelia; two sons, Gene and Dale; and four 
grandchildren.  Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Reeves 
Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
