William "Billy" Rudolph Pate, 53, of Hobucken, died today at Craven County 
Hospital.  Funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Hobucken United 
Methodist Church with Rev. John W. Yount and George Jones officiating.  
Burial will be in Barnett Cemetery.  
He is survived by his widow, Josephine Swindell Pate; his daughter Sherrie 
P. Swindell of New Bern, his parents Mr. & Mrs. Herman Pate of Hobucken, 
and his grandson.  
The family will receive friends at the home in Hobucken.
