BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Willie Lee Green, 71, formerly of Bayboro, died on 
Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at the Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center.
He was a member of Faith Community Center serving as a missionary. He was 
employed with Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, which he retired from in 
2002 after 28 years of dedicated service.
His funeral will be held noon Friday, April 1, 2011, in the Memorial Chapel
of Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc., 701 West St., with Eugene Mason 
officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in Hudnell Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Green of New Bern; two sons, Warren 
Lee of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Johnnie Lee Green of the home; two daughters, 
Vernell Bell of Bayboro and Cheryl Green of New Bern; one stepson, Anthony 
Green of Bronx, N.Y.; one stepdaughter, Tracey Green Harrell of New Bern; 
16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Kent 
Green of Grifton, Carlton Squires of the Maribel Community and Willie Gray 
Squires of Providence, R.I.
The family will be receiving their friends and guest at the residence of 
his son-in-law and daughter, John and Vernell Bell, 201 Waters St., Bayboro.
Viewing will be held from 9 to 11:45 a.m. Friday, in the Memorial Chapel 
of Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc.
